Eff yeah, 1 plus 1 does equal 7mg. . . Brownie Cookie Sandwiches with Vanilla Bean Frosting

Updated: Apr 19, 2021

I made another batch of brownies cookies. Same moody lighting, new batch of cannacoconut oil, correct sized scoop, kids were all tucked in bed and my husband was somewhere. However, this new batch of oil combined with the yield produced a cookie with much lower THC, 1.5mg/cookie. I decided this was okay because eating just one of these is hard for me.

I then remembered one of my favorite ways/philosophies of cooking - hone your basic recipes, figure ways of overlapping them so I'm not reinventing the wheel each time I go into the kitchen; make the wheel really cool each time. So this was the math equation I came up with:

Brownie Cookies (original post here)+ Vanilla Bean Frosting (from my Speculoos Cookie Sandwich post here) = Brownie Cookie with Vanilla Bean Frosting Sandwich

I don't know if you could tell, but it turned out to be really easy math. 1 plus 1 does equal 7mg. And here's how I got to that end result . . . 1.5mg cookies plus 5mg/2 teaspoons of cannacoconut oil vanilla bean frosting = 7mg of a good time sandwich. Wow, I did math again - it just comes so natural. I probably shouldn't have quit my math major after calc 3 because "it was too hard".

So here they are in all their glory - 7mg of rich AF chocolate cookie and vanilla frosting in a golf-ball sized sandwich. The cannacoconut oil was made from a high potency cannabis product called East Coast Sour Diesel. Known for its attitude lifting, sour flavor so if the sugar doesn't give me the high I'm looking for, the THC def will. Ha. Mom joke for you cause I live that Different Strain life :) Til the next adventure in the kitchen . . .
