Simply put, this is a fruit and nut bar. This bar has been adapted from one of my favorite talent at the Food Network. I still remember testing this recipe in Food Network Kitchen and was immediately inspired. For those who know me, you know who this person is . . . (I want to keep names private out of respect for my peers).
I wanted to create a "Good for You" edible that satiated but also one that you didn't feel bad eating at any time of the day. This beaut is made from all natural ingredients: sunflower seeds, pepitas, almonds, dates, dried cherries, dried apricots, shredded coconut, chia seeds, ground flaxseed, unsweetened cocoa powder, toasted sesame seeds, canna-coconut oil and, of course, fine salt for balance, letting the flavors of everything really come out.
This is the 3rd iteration of this recipe and I'm pretty happy with it (I can't help it but I will likely toast half of the shredded coconut on the next version and will update this post if it fits the bill).
Each bar (similar in size to a KIND energy bar) is 5mg of high potency THC, made from the sativa-dominant strain Super Lemon Haze. This strain is known for its tart and spicy taste and great for creativity and energy.
I have found that this bar is perfect for eating at the end of the work day and you need that little pick-me-up OR when you are in mother nature and want a snack that will give you energy both mind and body.
"Good for You" and remember It's A Different Strain.
